Nice to hear you both making light of such trauma you all suffered. Imho, Mrs. Shaila should have stayed separately as soon as her husband hit her the first time and take legal recourse and then come together, with legal / family backing. Also, plan for a kid or family, only once you have understood your spouse quite well, instead of making kids right away & then getting into bigger mess.
