Such kidcore vibes in this!! What’s funny is that’s so me with saturated colors! When I was younger thinking of my style I was fighting with myself on what colors I love…either the light colors like pastel from time to time or really BRIGHt colors and I’m bright colors ALL the way, son 😎. Also this character is so me coded bc a few times in my life I totally went for green hair for my sona and always was a frog lover xD (whats ironic is at a very very young age thought green was nasty and all haha) just recently got a frog build-a-bear in this cool Halloween looking Pokémon shirt lol, just in time for the season and fitting with my kidcore vibe room with anime sprinkled here and there through the years xD ofc what’s a room setup without em?

turn your signature into a brush tip material, create a new brush sub tool, change the tip to the signature, turn ribboning on and then experiment for what you want! if this is too complicated in words i can include a tutorial in the next vid

congrats on the sponsor!! just curious, i've been using an 11 inch ipad pro for quite a few years now. i'm wondering if you would recommend upgrading by getting a small display tablet like this one so i can use desktop programs like clip studio paint, or upgrade to the bigger sized ipad pro?

it all depends on your workflow! if you think an ipad will suffice for what you do with digital art, then stick with it! what do you think you can do on a desktop program that you can't do on ipad? personally i have both because i hated how file handling was on ipad, but occasionally i still want to use procreate. i disliked csp on ipad and prefer it on desktop

i've been using 15.6 for a couple of years now and it still works great however it did get scratched up from drawing and it seems to be a common thing with old 15.6 models? if you dont mind a small screen you can def save some money and get a 10 instead

xp pen 10 if for purely drawing reasons. iirc it can also connect to phones if you have pocket procreate but the cord for that is bought separately. overall cheaper than an ipad if you plan on using the ipad for portability reasons and also outside of drawing (for class, taking notes, general ipad use) then the ipad 9! more expensive tho, even refurbished

@@ayeoops honestly the biggest drawback for me not buying display tablet is i cant really use it on my bed 🥲. my phone is not supported by xp pen (i immediately look for it when u mention that it can be used to display phone apps too). curious tho, when comes to drawing on ipad, whats the biggest drawback? aside from being more expensive.

@@laluwahyupiw for me, its the way brushes feel. pen pressure feels different on ipad vs display, and i am so used to display that ipad feels weird. file handling is also a bit annoying if you're drawing for a job. i did draw exclusively on mine for a couple of years and i took it everywhere with me. extremely convenient to have it around and draw anywhere you want

Hello, I got a XP-Pen Artist 12 Pen Display 2nd Gen for Christmas, for some reason my PC sees it as a keyboard, it detects the Stylus but not the display. Any ideas to fix this? Also the screen won't turn on and says "No Signal." I'm panicking cause I was so excited to get this, I've downloaded the drivers, the buttons on the display work but the screen won't turn on.

make sure you've plugged the hdmi cable in the correct slot, using all the correct cords. i've never run into this problem before tho so im not entirely sure how to fix it
