To make that practical, you would have to eliminate 4 things 1. Environmentalism: The source of the "post industrial US", a byzantine system of requirmentgs and a money pit 2. The Welfare State a money pit and an impedienent 3. Regulationism. a money pit and a byzantine maze of ambition destroyers 4. wealth and income taxes. The sponges that soak money out of the economy based on resentment; "Better everyone be poor than only some get rich". Have you ever heard of poor people generating jobs? Then you would still need the methods of assimilation (a long way to which would bew the elimination of the Welfare State) Do you see any of this happening anytime soon?

I agree with most of what you said. But assimilation would happen almost instantly. If you got rid of those things you pointed out only lovers of freedom would come to America. But exactly because none of those things are going to get fixed, immigration will remain an unsolvable problem.

My gosh a 4 min excerpt solution?? 1. all states will not agree to similar laws for immigrants and labor, 2. “let them come” is only spouted from people in security gate neighborhoods, 3. let them come? so no border patrol, gate/fence/border….errr…wall/boundary? just walk on through? - how about just getting rid of the nanny state totally? how about build a full wall and still have immigration access at specific entries? - why are you over your skis here? -> because this issue has been politicized therefore there’s no turning back until a major absolute move - in the meantime this is purely futile conversation
