Hindu University of America is proud to celebrate the 'punar-uddharan' or the epochal renaissance of Ayodhya and the timeless Bharatiya Samskruti with this musical tribute in Sanskrit in honor of Sri Ram.

Oh My Rama! What a masterpiece this is! A composition in Sanskrit, summarising the history of the Ayodhya Ram Temple and saluting the greatness of Rama at the same time! And all this in lyrics that would have gladdened the heart of the great Mutthuswami Dikshitar, who would have especially loved the play of words at 3'30"! This is in keeping with the purest of pure traditions of avoiding Nara Stuthi (praising humans) in a song about a God, and yet, driving home the role played by the Prime Minister! Another stroke of genius is seen in the tribute paid to two great people: the line parāśarātmajāśritam -mahāmatyādi vanditam conveys our eternal gratitude to advocate Parasaran Iyengar (who defended the Hindu parties in the Ayodhyaland dispute case) and Archeologist Mohommed (who gave evidence about the existence of a Hindu temple at the site)

Very beautiful! Dr Kanniks.. I heard it fully now....and read the subtitle text to go with the Sanskrit lyrics.. and it really touched my soul 🙏🏼 The name "A cultural renaissance " is also a very powerful and apt title to the building of this monumental temple. Wonderful composition as always Kanniks!! Very beautifully composed and produced. Love the lava-kusha type presentation. Amazing visuals being the beauty of Ayodhya! Your lovely composition inspired by the style of Muttusvami Dikshitar is a very melodious and inspiring piece.
