First and foremost, Indians must be taught their history as it was and not as per convenience in the garb of creating harmony. If you teach me that a brutal Mughal like Aurangzeb was a builder and secular, then I will start loving the killer of my ancestors and start thinking that there is some fault within us that we were enslaved by Mughals and then the British. If if don’t learn our history in its entirety and as it happened, then we will become naive enough that this slavery history will be repeated with us.

Why rajiv sir said like i ran companies abroad and im that kindof guy u can call me that i command them....isnt that much like the harsh way and that we r acting like westerners ? And at some video he said that our rajas were good and they only restored their swarajya and they never went to rule other countries....not bcuz they werent advance but bharatiyas are the only kindof people from which u can expect such good qualities..... Doesnt rajiv sir comment make these look little weak ? Plus in some videos he says that dictator ideology in india came from outter forces,then how we should act like them ? Ik in this video he saying that is exact we cant act like them but not bcuz we shld but we r weak but the main goal is to do wat they did to us,isnt it is wrong according to our bharatiyas ethics of breaking others empires by means of keeping evil nature like westerners..... I guess its about those he was talking about who r doing adharma.... Again im just getting these questions but no hate at all with all due respect 🙏 I thought to ask someone inorder to clear my paranoia....if it exists....

Mr Malhotra , for the first time, I find someone who is able to call the bluff of Western intellectual hegemony, in the same language in which they can understand. I MUST SAY Rajiv Malhotra is the greatest living Indologist philosopher, who calls a spade a spade. But, leftist intellectuals of India can't tolerate his straightforward , down to earth logic. This is really unfortunate. Actually, even when they are made to see the plain truth ( of intellectual hegemonistic politics), most of these so called intellectuals do not have the intellectual integrity to walk the talk of the post-modernist concept of "doing unto them, what they have done to us'. Yes, China has been able to do it by flexing its muscles. Ultimately, it is a matter of not only resources, but also of getting over our own defeatist , escapist, mind-set of not getting too involved in countering subtle and unfair intellectual assaults. '

I was of the understanding that Dharma teaches us "Neti Neti" a form of deconstruction; and also the ability to see many paths or pluralism to God, hence the many symbols of many religions are abstract attempts at the divine and therefore in a postmodern sense the many narratives are abstract and can never do justice to reality.
@diptinayak49718 жыл бұрын
1.See that is where post modernist and modern science go wrong(not equating both! one is pseudo-science/nescience and the other is science! but both fail to realize the nature of ultimate reality), they get trapped in their own argument/thinking. 2.Here is a good read about that "Vidyaranya Swami's panca viveka and ThomasAquinas' quinque viae in the Light of Today's Science" by Klaus k Kolstermaeir. This research paper gives a good argument how "advaita/dharma" realizes the ultimate reality which let alone some social science theory(nescience) but science itself fails to comprehend/understand. 3.Also, science is at least trying to get there but social theories fail even in grasping transient reality let alone the ultimate. 4.Dharma teaches "Neti Neti" as an logic (a particular type of vichara/meditation to employed over the way to self-realization). You do not deconstruct everything with it. You only use "neti neti" at certain level where you are stuck, "neti neti" offers a good technique for progression. 5.Oh another big difference, dharma offers a system of study, practical/tested out tools, whose effects is reproducible by anybody who under goes it for self-realization/ultimate reality comprehension. The social theory offers only deconstruction which ultimately percolates to political thinking adding more to problems and nothing else 6. Also, these social science theories and for that matter science have their origins in Dharma itself, but in a very distorted way that they lack consciousness in them (This statement might make me sound like right wing hindu but its not. I can't explain it, too big a topic. You need to get into analysis of pre-historical facts and proto-history upto 21st century history of propagation of ideas around the world, of course such an analysis should be free of euro-centrism )

When we never did purva paksha of an ideology we do not know them . I am very sad by low level intellect of questions being asked . Where is the choice , we have always stood against Adharma , unfortunately people do not put in effort to give explanation like Krishna gave to Arjuna .
@MrRagool7 жыл бұрын
The question or rather the response to it was very enlightening. We should thank her for it. It was not a low-level intellect question, rather a naive one and lets not forget 99% of us are equally naive about the kurukshetra. She came up front and boldly asked it and we should appreciate it. Sometimes it takes a simplistic question to reveal a great truth in the response.

Peace loving Indians perished in Afghanistan Pakistan and Bangladesh. Most of the nonviolent believers like Buddhists, Hindus and Zoarastrians had weak Kings, insufficient armies and general "all is good" attitude. Those kings and royals had a knack for music, art, poetry but not for self defense. Those kingdoms fell and now they don't agree with us and detach themselves for the culture and heritage. They disowned their history and ancestors.

Astounding uncluttered reply to someone who asks questions like an automaton. The key point is West is expansionist and has the wherewithal to mount cultural attacks on the other countries. India just has no experience in such cultural aggression. Buddhist monks walked singly for india to other countries to spread Buddha’s teachings. Hinduism is not even a missionary religion. Hindus should give up cultural laziness and study their own Dharma and other religions and schools of thought, irrespective of what their profession is.

Bharat has a lot of intelligent and clever people but many are without Shree Rajiv's guts and dedication to Bharat and protect its identity. The worst part is that most Indians want to become like Europeans in every way as they believe sun shines out of their backside. For example, just look at the call centres in India. when you phone from abroad they identify themselves with English/Latin names. It is a tragedy that most learned Indians do not realise what Bharat has to offer in terms of literature, languages, etc.

If you have a friend, and you are kind to them, it is good. But being nice is not the same. Being nice means you are not setting boundaries. It doesn't actually show your goodness. It shows ulterior motive.
