as Engi, one time I found myself defending the cap in Turbine against an enemy Pyro, Sniper and Heavy. our Medic came running from the enemy after losing his Pyro buddy, and all that was there to defend him and the cap was me. I killed the enemy Pyro with my sentry, the enemy Heavy destroyed it, and Medic popped his uber on me. I was already out of ammo, and didn't want to waste the uber, so I pulled out my wrench, whacked the Heavy to bits, tanked a headshot from the Sniper, and stepped aside *just* as our Pyro came from respawn and joined in right behind me to torch that Sniper to cinders. we shared a collective high-five after that.

Lucky, I tried to harbor a stock Pyro being chased by a demo, I let him hideout in my nest right as I realized that MY TEAM DIDN’T HAVE A PYRO

Scout is terrified of engineer because Engy is a direct counter to Scout. Scouts rely almost entirely on their speed, agility, and unpredictability to avoid taking damage - and since an un-Wrangled sentry has auto-aim, the only answers a Scout has are to chug down a BONK! Atomic Punch to render themselves temporarily invulnerable, but unable to attack, or to just avoid it altogether.

Engineer is the coolest character in TF2. He's my secondary, works with the greatest mad doctor of all time, supports his team AND can kick your tail with or without his sentry gun, and also has 11 PHDs. Demoman, Medic and Heavy are the closest to being as cool as him tho. I can admit that. Medic literally tricked the devil, Tavish/Demoman has a cursed eye socket and sword, and Heavy is just awesome as a concept. 4:14 Scout will die, soldier has a chance, pyro... will probably die, demoman has a chance, heavy needs to know where it is to have a chance, engineer will probably just die, Medic can uber almost any teammate to take down a sentry but a Pyro or Heavy can follow up after they kill the sentry, Sniper needs range to kill a sentry, and spy has a chance against a sentry but not an engineer. That's why you're dying.

Some weapons stats explain Widowmaker shot that he used takes metal as ammunition by 30/shot but damage is returned as metal (Which if you didn’t is not actually ammunition but used to construct and upgrade buildings engy has 200) so if you hit 30=< damage you can shoot indefinitely. Frontier justice: half shots in clip (from 6 to 3) but gives you crits from sentry kills and assist if you or the enemy destroys it (2crits/kill and 1crit/assist) and last no random critical hits which isn’t the stat you should be worried but if you want to know more watch Uncle Dane’s video about random crits and maybe some other tutorials by him about the engineer (I would recommend starting with weapons but watch the newer version of rescue ranger)

4:12 Sentry countering is annoying, time consuming, and difficult... but possible for all classes and easier with some than others. The most important thing is to not be in it's firing line when it fires.
