Marcela was ripping it for the whole 2 hours. Whenever there was a shot at the support trio, she's either headbanging or summoning some mad notes. I think she also co-authored or co-arranged some of the vocal parts. And in this last song, she clearly did not feel like holding back. Outstanding contribution to the show.

There is a reason why the sisters Jansen, and especially Floor, are world famous, and Marcella Bovio is only know in the much smaller circle of Ayreon / Star One and Mayan adepts

wander if its common knowledge this song is based off of a Kurt Russel lead SciFi movie. "I have finally found the Key, to chart the course to the other side of the galaxy." Daniel Jackson is recruited to help the military unlock the star gate which allows a team of soldiers to step through a wormhole known, as the star gate to another location in the galaxy. "I need to find the seventh sign carved into stone of an ancient time." The team lead by Kurt Russel's Colonel O'Neil realize they cannot get back without the seventh sign completing the combination to unlock the star gate and get them back to earth. "And Ra will live forever, he draws from his powers from afar, builds a gateway to the star" Ra traveled from earth after taking many humans and poses as a God on this new planet as he forces them into servitude and worship. "Unaware of a common fate we disappear through the ancient gate, we arrive in a desert land, set a camp in a burning sand." Basically recapping the journey so far as the stranded team of soldiers sets up a base at pyramid the star gate they came through was located in. "Behold, a thousand slaves Mining ores in the planet's caves They give us shelter from the storm Then Ra appears in a human form." Ra becomes aware of these trange visitors from the gate as the soldiers wander and are shelter in slave camps of those who serve Ra. Ra begins his retaliation against them by sending his men to assault the makeshift base at the pyramid where many soldiers die and are captured. "A tall ship descends from the sky Lasers flare and many men die A bloody battle has begun We must destroy this 'king of the sun'" Third act of the movie, the soldiers and those slaves that will stand with them begin the fight for they're lives against Ra. "We have found the seventh sign Down in the catacombs When the seven points align They will lead us all back home" Deep within the catacombs of the pyramid they find the missing sign allowing them to complete the permutation of solar symbols and return to earth through the star gate. Than a couple years later Richard Dean Anderson would become the new Colonel O'Neil as he leads the first team of what will be branded the Star Gate project, and he and his men will go on magnificent adventures through the galaxy, fighting against the evil false Gods known who enslave humanity across uncharted space.

Some people keep carrying on about Marcella Bovio being "the best" or "most powerfull" singer in this group. Now I really like Marcella's voice. However, what you should keep in mind is that for Marcella this was a big event, and she gave it her all. For others, like Floor Jansen, this was just another collab in a busy agenda with many other engagements with Nighwish, Northward, etc. So where Marcella was blasting at full tilt, singers like Floor will probably have taken it a bit more easily and where more or less coasting, so to say. So to draw conclusions about relative power or ability only the basis of only this one piece of community singing seems a both a bit misplaced and a bit desperate (on the part of the fans of mrs Bovio) to me.
