Been considering getting a X5 B58 as a family daily for these reasons you just stated, great video man!! Just curious, how can you tell if the car has the M Sport package? I've seen listings with sport package but the grill isn't blacked out, does that come blacked out automatically or is the blacked out grill aftermarket?

The new x5 with same naming has also b58 or s58? S58 also reliable?

Anything modern BMW with 40i in the name is the B58. I believe the new ones have a mild hybrid system now

I have that exact same x5 with the m sport and a new x3m40i. I have over 50k miles on the x5 and no issues at all so far. I also have a 2015 x5 35i with 175,000 miles and it's never given me any issues (I realize that engine is the n55)

Station Wagons are not meant to be fast or driven on twisties anyway! ... 3 "rows" are always more important than 2 more cylinders in wagons as well.
