I won’t argue if it’s a dope sound; the beat did have slippage in one or two sections, if it would not have done that, it would have been a full banger. Wu be on point for sure, they did rock this beat, but it could have been better. That being said, Not every MC can slay and murda on and thru an awkward beat... I could see Nas, Em, Meth, Red, Ghost, Deck, Big Shug, 50, and DPG (Snoop, Daz & Kurupt) assassinating this track, in some combination. You need a combo of low smooth undertone or monotone bars to vibe with that beat, some complex wordplay and snappy verses, just a little storytelling, and then somewhere in mixed with ample massive precision mind-speak rapping ... and maybe, a nice chorus hook in the background to go with that sleek curling ’da da da da duh, da da da da duh’ gambino-Soprano sound they put on wax. Just sayin.
