what's your endgoal with this series? i usually struggle to keep playing coz i don't see where i should work toward greate video anyway

I don't exactly have an endgoal, but there are things to work toward such as: grow a fruit orchard, domesticate a variety of animals, produce milk and cheese, build a castle, build a smithy with a wind-powered helve hammer, find and explore the Resonance Archive, etc.
