adding instruments until my pc cries

A HUGE song made in FL Studio 21 using way more instruments than I normally do. Theres like a guitar, cello, piano, flute, some synths, harp, music box, choir, breakcore, electric guitar, bass guitar, recorder....
i kind of just kept adding stuff until the latency on the project got bad enough that I wasn't able to record anything new without being bothered hahaha

I ALSO HAD RECORDER KARATE HOLY SHITTT ive even had the exact same experience where no one's known what i'm talking about LMAO we had sidequests technically but i was the only person in my class who did them.. the first 3 or so belts were required and then you had to go see the music teacher during lunch for the rest. i dont think she really cared how well you played though -- if you showed up you got a belt LMAO i got up to light blue (which was like the 5th or 6th tier??) and then my music teacher stopped giving us sheet music came for the music, stayed for the karate lore.. i love ur musical style (and video style!! reading the captions was fun ^^ have a good day!!)

MY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DID THE RECORDER THING TOO! Ours wasn't belts though, we had these patch-like stickers instead. Each sticker had a start with the number for the level you were at. Every time you advanced a level you would add it to your strap, so eventually you would have these 10 adhesive patches all stuck to your strap, which was kind of a flex. And we also had to play "Hot Cross Buns" for level one lol.

unironically love this, instrument variety goes a long long way in making melodies sound sparkly and fleshed out and ive always preferred someone stacking three or four unrelated instruments over someone going crazy in serum or phaseplant. also flute is seriously underrated in upbeat music, or at least modern daw-produced music
