Yes! The ghibli films and their music are huge inspirations to my work! Japanese music theory is a rabbit hole in itself and I like to think I've learned to use it well in my writing! Wowowow I'm so glad youtube recommended this song to me, it's amazing!! The tune is so lovely :) I love the variety within this too, like how some parts sound very lively and upbeat and some parts have a kind of sweet tranquility. Cloud shadows passing over soft field of flowers, hilltop scenery. This song does remind me of studio ghibli films lol , it's also kinda like valse romantique. You're a super talented artist ♡ p.s. Alot of the time what happens is I hear a song or piece of music I really like and I try to dissect it and figure out what makes it sound that way and then apply it to m own writing! It's a fun way to learn and grow as a producer / song writer. I actually want to make a video talking about the process it took to write some of these pieces and the techniques / theory I use in the writing process.
