Another great accommodation tour Bob. Genuinely surprised at the size, especially the bathroom. Would have been nice perhaps to have two armchairs rather than the oversized chair as I can imagine it’s a bit inconvenient for a couple (although I’d have enjoyed it as a solo!). Surely they could have done something different with the seating area although appreciate your comment that it wouldn’t fit a love seat so perhaps it was that or nothing. Keep up the good work! 😊

Thanks, Pete! Maybe a thinner nightstand would’ve allowed for a little bit more room of a couch ? I’m not sure there is a solution here, but it’s good for people on a budget and for short cruises.

I think we would be quite happy in this room . A bit on the small side but had everything you need .

Excellent cabin tour, you can really see what’s there. We sailed on Azamara Journey quite a few years ago, have very happy memories and we loved Azamara.

The cabin is definitely small. Our cabin on Queen Elizabeth was a bit bigger, but I'd be happy with it just to be cruising. Thank you for your honest review.

You're very welcome, Joan. She's a good cabin, but small, for certain. Would not want to take this room type on much longer than 14 nights (though the next size up is a Club Continent Suite... good amount of room, there). Thanks for watching!

For the amount of time we spent in our cabins on Quest and Journey, these verandah staterooms were ample--Ideal to have tea & toast in the morning on the verandah--must admit, showers are rather small

Hi Rupert, Agree unreservedly about the shower space, though the room overall is still, for us - a wee bit small. It's certainly fine for shorter cruises, or, as you say, when not spending much time in the cabin. A good balcony breakfast is a lovely way to begin the day! I know! Those R-Class ships have very small standard bathrooms unless you get into the suite category.

Great video Bob! I loved our Azamara Pursuit 7 night cruise but I couldn't believe how tiny the bathroom was. Imagine my disappointment when I stepped on Oceania Regatta only to realise it's the same R-class ship with the same tiny bathroom. Totally inadequate in my opinion for our 28 night cruise in Polynesia.

Thank you, Angela! Yes, those bathrooms...! We're going on an R-Class on Oceania next year, same area as you, for just as long - those tiny WCs aren't the part to which we're looking forward, for sure!

Bob, don’t get upset with me. I love listening to your commentary. Instead of writing info at the bottom can you do all you talking? You and your honest evaluation is so much more powerful than typed in comments.

Not mad at all, and I'll try to do more of it, but, like with the Tudor tour, and videos in the not-so-distant past, I've been doing main voiceovers where I felt text would not work, choosing key moments the best I thought to do. This fairly recent selectiveness is medically related - it's a respitorty thing that makes it hard to do more in a single day AND sound professional (or too long if spread out over several days). My workflow is typically 6 days per episode of, say, 18 min+ finished product: 2 days to do the main editing, two for music, one for script/text writing, and one, the sixth, normally- for voiceovers and testing/completion. A room tour typically does not exceed 3 days, soup to nuts.

As good as your videos are, you are what make them shine. I didn’t know about voice problems; I’m sorry for your issue. I know how getting old is awful. When I hear you narrate, your great videos resonate with life. Yes, some people go overboard with yacking but you won’t have that problem. Regardless of what you decide, I still love watching your filming.
