Haha! Thanks guys. Yes, the cocktail thing is VERY dependent on cruise lines. We've been happily sipping cocktails in a jacuzzi on some, but we now understand it's not so acceptable on others! :D

Hi Rich! I’ve seen your videos before, but I just subscribed today. You really do a good job with your production. On Pursuit Vlog 2 at about 6:20, you show the complementary beverage portion; I do not see any complementary “house“ wine. Can you comment on this please. Cheers, Bob

Very nice... I like the new vlog style videos... the food did indeed look amazing, could you see a view out of the windows in the premium dining (at front of ship) at night night?

Thanks Matthew. The vlog style fitted this series (there's four parts in this Azamara one) and when it suits the particular look we're after, it'll feature in some future ones too! The Prime C restaurant has floor to ceiling windows all round. It's at the rear of the ship and the views are gorgeous and unobstructed. :)

It would be nice if you were more specific in telling us what is included in FREE drinks. I saw what looked like a price beside the "Water" listing. Do they charge for water?

Bottled water is included, but premium water like Perrier is not, unless you have a drinks package. The included drinks are basic spirits, house wines etc.

is it true you can also ask for the not included cocktails but using "included" spirits? We are trying Azamara for the first time in March, we have the "premium" package as part of our booking. There have been some heavily discussed forums on cruise critic about this new drinks system, it even had the Azamara representative quite flustered and upset.

Ah, Not sure and didn't try that! We purchased one Ultimate Package and compared it with no package at all. The results of that and our opinion I think is coming in part 3! :)

A difficult question to answer and has many considerations. If you like amazing food, then both. If you like immersive and interesting ports of call, Aza pips SB. If you like fully inclusive drinks and caviar when you want, then SB. If you appreciate brilliant, happy and helpful crew, then both. I could go on all day! It's a tough one to call overall!
