The most gold I ever made as a mage was when I randomly complimented a guy on his name, I can't recall what it was but it was something like Beaudaggit. He waved at me, opened a trade window and gave me 5 gold. This gave me an idea. So I started selling my portals but I also offered compliments. It was a joke at first, but then people were actually paying me (nothing as substantial as the first guy, mainly like 50 s. and random items). After an hour and 15 minutes I had made roughly 56 G, 2 stacks of Mageweave cloth, A glass of milk and a random green piece of armor. It was a weird day.

In BC, I played with a girl for a whole year, and thought she was a guy. We got to be pretty good wow buddies, and I remember a few late night chats that I definitely wouldn't have had, if I'd known I was talking to a woman. Turns out this girl's boyfriend would only let her use his account if she presented herself as a guy, or something. He told me what had been going on after they broke up and she moved out, and then he logged on her character a few times. Crazy crazy.
