John Harrison a.k.a (SPOILERS) Khan, was by far one of the highlights of Into Darkness, due in no small part to his theme. I still go looking for it on a semi-regular basis, Giacchino did a masterful job at creating an instantly recognizable and foreboding theme to accompany this epic villain!

SPOILER WARNING I liked the callbacks to Wrath of Khan (not least John Harrison actually being Khan), they were a good crowd pleaser, but I think the story had potential to be more interesting if they didn’t do that. If John Harrison really was just John Harrison. No disrespect to the film I enjoy it plenty, but just “What if?”, you know?
