The Stranger’s theme is, to me, the most intriguing/captivating of all the themes in the show. The epitome of “not all those who wander are lost.” He came to Middle-Earth alone, confused, and (at first) unable to speak any language save for that of his fellow Ainur - and he still, in the end, arrived precisely when and where he needed to be.

Seeing him in this show made me think of this quote especially; Galadriel: Mithrandir... why the Halfling? Gandalf: ...I don't know. Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I have found. I've found it is the small things, everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keeps the darkness at bay. Simple acts of kindness and love. Why Bilbo Baggins? Perhaps it is because I am afraid... and he gives me courage.

(Skip to 9:40 this is the part I love the most) Quite earnestly, I don’t understand properly why. I think it’s because it goes from Gm and Bm to the minor 7th, but then proceeds to go to the major 7th later on accompanied by D natural. It’s the most beautiful and haunting score I’ve genuinely ever heard. And I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s genuinely the most beautiful piece in the world to me. Thank you Bear McCreary. Did it in GoW, now this too.

Amazing taste. I literally can't stop listening to Constellation of Fireflies, it gives me chills. I really am no music expert but for me its the fact that it goes from quiet to louder. It feels like a slow waltz, the sound comes and goes in waves, and the melody is absolutely beautiful. I fully focus on the melody and its like my breathing synchronizes with the sound (I can be a bit dramatic too haha)
