My son was offered a job by FEDEX about 2 weeks ago. They wanted him to pull the double 4 days a week, from Miamisburg, Ohio to Knoxville, Tn. Mon -Thurs. Starting pay was 37.50 an hour! He turned it down to run a dedicated run from Cincinnati to Columbus, twice a day for 4 days at 28.00 per hour. He drives a Penske rental with a flatbed.

Hello Justin. Years ago, I pulled a flatbed trailer. I found it easier to throw the strap over the load in an overhand manner rather than an underhand manner as the wrecker guy was doing. That may have been a relatively new wrecker as I did not see any markings on the truck. Have good days!

Watching Swift try and back is common. The biggest problem I see with most is they don't understand the key to a good back is to know how to pull up. With the right pull up, you don't have to do much when you back. I'll never understand how people can be truck drivers and not know how to back. But then again, we had people join the Navy who couldn't swim.

Justin, I live in Salisbury, and we did lose power for a little bit. There were some people that lost power over two days, but in our area, we only lost power for about 2 hours. So yeah Food Lion probably had to run their generator, but for no more than 2 days.

Yeah i was like WTF was that cause it shook the whole sleeper. And lucky nana was not with us. And i stuck my head out the side door of the sleeper and seen worker's run outside telling the Swift driver to stop. Somebody tossed a fire fire extinguisher through the front window. Jessie leaned over and seen that. I said it's dinner and a show. And she warmed up the breakfast burrito's in the microwave and we watched the Owner of the building go off on the driver. And we could not move cause they still had out trailer locked. And they had a employee go in and hit the switch to unlock the lock on the trailer. And i turned around facing the whole thing. And we sat and watched. Cause they still had to unload us. I think we started to doze off and then BAM. We always stay from Swift Driver's. And we have a driver who drive's for us. And he said that Swift did not train him at all to drive. They said has long u can shift the gear's and stuff your good here's your CDL. He then went to Walmart and drove for them for a few month's quit due to lack of promise's of good pay. And somebody said go to us and we hired him. And he is a good driver. He is always ready to go when we send him out. He is also the bass player in the church choir.

Hell we had to respond to the accident where a FedEx driver went and ff tue road into a field and he had 2 trailer's. Thank god The was empty. A biker on a sport's bike cut him off fleeing from the police. The biker was caught a mile ahead. He's finished judge tossed the biok st him. Jesse was called to assist with the wrecker driver. Since other one was in another county. He was like oh bleep seeing Jesse arrive. Cause he didn't know wuat mood Jesse was in. Jesse was in a good miod. It's depends if u wake him up after he just went to bed. They managed to pull the driver out of the field with no damage to his semi or trailer's. Thry akl checked out the semi truck and both trailer's no damage. The local FedEx tjey sent a check for towing tuere driver out. Tue driver sued the kid on the sport's bike. We don't know him neither does the kid's. His parent's was not in a good mood at all. Jesse seen them when he had to turn in documents. He said that the mother slapped the kid so hard he nearly fell. I was like good. We went to church and then just relaxed and went to Sam's Club and got groceries. It's supposed to be nice all week. We been taking the bike's ti work except tomorrow i gotta take the grandma van. Gotta take grandkids to the doctor's office. That's one of the 3 wrecker's we have. If we see Swift backing up next to us. I will get my cellphone recording. Jesse had to help tuem bsxk up since they didn't have any learning about how to backup and maneuver in a loading dock. One time we was asleep and BAM the whole truck shook waking us up. I was like WTF was that. Jesse opened the side door in tue sleeper and said a freaking Swift driver destroyed the loading dock he was backing up into. He destroyed the trailer also i was like damn wuwn he pulled out. We was laughing so hard when tue police department arrived and they tried nit to laugh at the driver. When tue driver left to go to the office they was all laughing.

@@JustTruckin wasn't his fault. He had to avoid the kid on the bike or avoiding the incoming lane. A State Highway Patrol Officer caught the whole thing on his dash camera. He was shaking up and he was like hell yeah watching our wrecker's pull him out. The other wrecker he arrived and help pull. He was watching Jesse use the remote control to operate the crane. The other wrecker driver he ain't used to the remote control yet.
