+GrotesqueHyydra you know what they mean. Obviously we don't know her personally. Her personality is what we perceive it to be based on her public persona that she puts out there. It's a common sentiment that she's talented as fuck, but gets in her own way. Which is totally fine, if that's what makes her happy. I'm sure if she really wanted to, she could submit to handlers, PR and marketing people, and she would be way more commercially (and conventionally, I suppose) successful. But clearly she doesn't want to do that, because it would compromise her authenticity. Which brings us back to the argument about whether or not her personality, on twitter or otherwise, is real... I'd say that there is definitely some realness in what we see online.
