Thanks for inspecting a C class. I am in the market and very concerned about roof construction of C class RVs (We are down sizing from an aluminum roof diesel pusher). Do you have any words of wisdom on the various “high dollar” total roof coatings that profess to be a lifetime roof solution? Especially if applied to a “less than life time” original roof…

Overall the more professional setup, the more I like the coatings. But the spray on bedliner type is probably the best and most durable and does add value.

I have the Thor four winds 23u. I wish you would have looked at the lueon behind the fiberglass as the box comes off the chassis- near the cab door. The wood behind it gets wet and begins to rot up the panel. It’s a real problem. I had to replace one side and the other could use it also. Good review. I learned a few things.

Hey.. Great roof on this RV.. It can't be a Winnebago.. After inspecting an RV, do you repair it, if owner desires you to? Usually, if you see that type of covering on the couch, it's probably been a rental unit at some point in its life. Thanks for what you do..

I don't think it was a rental because it wasn't beat up. Sometimes I fix the items I noted on inspection.

Hi James I have a1977 mci converted motor coach I'm installing a AC rooftop what should I use to seal between the roof and the AC

in general the A/C will hae the foam gasket on it and should not require additional sealant

In the box of the new AC is directions and gasket. I did mine a few years ago and it went easier than I expected. Two people are needed.
