Neat video, fun to watch. Nice job of filming, editing, narrating. Good to see very few people out there, still some private areas. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome video as usual! My wife and I visited the edge of the would trail last month also! The last leg was closed but could still drive to the the literal edge on many places! Looking forward to the next!

It's a great drive. Not many people & some great views!

I drove that route a few months ago ...I went opposite direction though (East to west). I can't believe how remote the section from Yolo to Baghdad was... beautiful scenery and besides a few cowboys, we saw no one.
@azoffroad_net4 жыл бұрын
Awesome. It really is remote out there. I'd definitely like to spend some more time in the area some day. Thanks for watching!

Wow, I swear your videos get better and better with every posting. The Black Pearl Mine trail looks it really went sour fast as you got closer. I am looking forward to the remainder of this series as I would do this on my dual sport with camping gear. Thanks again Scotty!

Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying so far & I'm sure you'll be able to get a few more good ideas of places to ride. Hope you enjoy Part 2!

Nice, That mine was cool, I'm adding it to the "someday" list. Look forward to the next one!
@azoffroad_net4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The mine is certainly worth the effort it takes to get there. It seemed like there were some good campsites in the area too (just before the mine & just north of the turnoff on Behm Mesa).

Hey Scotty, can you share the .gpx track of your adventure? It would be great to be able to travel along with the videos on a more detailed map alongside the video.
@azoffroad_net4 жыл бұрын
I usually post the track after the series wraps up, but I'll try and break it up by day and post what I've already covered!
@tomclark28504 жыл бұрын
@@azoffroad_net Thank you. I haven't been able to locate .gpx tracks from your previous adventures. Where do you post them?

This is the second time today that I've watched this episode. What a good job Scotty. I think you made a good decision to hike the last mile to the mine. When adventuring alone it's always a good idea to be extra cautious. There would not be anyone to help for a long time when so far down the trail. Looking forward to next weeks episode already.
@azoffroad_net4 жыл бұрын
Wow -- that's awesome to hear! Thank you & glad you are enjoying so far! Hiking was definitely the right choice for this trip. I do carry a GPS 2-way communicator with me, but even then, it would have been a long time before someone could get to me. Hope you enjoy the next episode!

Awesome video, I never miss any of them, well done, I’m a Washington State resident but spend lot of time in Arizona, would love to meet up for some instructions on some of your adventures, or tag alone in my Jeep. You should have a annual trail meet up, maybe 2-3 day trail/camp get together. Once again keep up the great awesome video’s,!
@azoffroad_net4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching everything! I would really like to do some kind of group ride/camp. 2020 seems to have other plans but I'll let you know when I can plan something like that. Whereabouts in WA do you live? I have some family east of Yakima.
@edjrmorgan4 жыл бұрын
www.azoffroad.net About 1/2 way east between Tacoma and Seattle, spend most of camping and vacation in Arizona, can’t get enough, Superstitions and Apache trail area up to lakes being some of my favorite areas. Really like the northern central area you’ve been videoing, great stuff, like your Jeep and camp gear. I run Jeep 2-door jk, working on 4x4 trailer w/ rooftop tent, hopefully get it done for some winter camping. Keep up the great adventures

What a good idea. At the very least it would be cool to have a meet & greet, somewhere in the mountains, maybe at a campground on the Mogollon Rim

I used to live at Barney well down past bear flat. There i punched cows for the yolo ranch. An old woman lived at bear flat. Her husband was killed in the black pearl and she packed him out on a mule. I would go up to bear flat and play cards with her. Her name was Bertha Shell and she always had a 45 pistol on the table. Goats would wander in and out of her shack. This was in 1971 . I hope this adds interest to you

Do you have a video of the inside of your RTT

There will be a few brief shots of the inside in upcoming episodes. For a more detailed look, you can check out this video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnS1mWSjhtWhfdE) at around the 10:22 time code. That was my first time taking it out. Hope that helps!
