I have a 365 & a 365XL & have never had a malfunction with either. Also I went with a Mag Guts 14-rnd kit that is great. I got a Tactical Development base plate for my M G spring as it ads a little more grip surface for your pinky.

I agree about no red dot. As someone also in AZ, concealed carry in our heat and often in shorts and tee shirts is hard with the extra protrusion of the red dot. And statistically unlikely to need to shoot at distances for concealed carry self Defence.

As far as red dots are concerned, as you get older, I am 73, the red dot makes it much easier to aim. Is for the factory sights on my 365XL, in my opinion, the front sight is just not bright enough. I have heard the same comment from many other owners of the 365XL.

You don't hear about the P9, PM9 talked about much anymore they were great at the time for off duty carry.
@AZTrigger2 жыл бұрын
Yup - They were great guns for their time - even though they were expensive and lacked many of the more advanced features of the P365.

I carried a PM9 for 6 years daily from 11-2012 to mid 2019 until I bought my first 365 ! loved it at the time, only benefit it had was it was a tiny bit lighter than a 365 but +4 rounds on the sig is nice, and night sights from factory too!

The Kahr MK9 was the original game changer and came out in 1995. It was the first micro compact 9mm in all stainless steel. I have owned one for many years and like it a lot. I would never sell it even though I have two GLOCK G-43s and two Sig Sauer P-365s. All these modern micro compact pistols today are a direct copy from that first 1995 Kahr MK9. Back in a era where we all carried "big" full size 9mm and .40 S&W pistols and 1911 .45s. Imagine what you could do with that pistol when your other pistol is a Beretta 92FS/M9, Sig Sauer P-226/Mk25, HK USP9, GLOCK G-17/G-19, S&W 5906 etc etc etc? It was a HUGE groundbreaking design for a ultra small 9mm deep concealment pistol and is still one of the best. More to the point I think most of these guys buying Sig P-365s that start adding longer, fatter grips, longer slides, lights/lasers, extended base pads and various other doodads are defeating the entire purpose of the Sig P-365. You would be better served just using your GLOCK G-19 instead and having a better fighting pistol while doing it. Guns like these micro compact 9mms were designed to replace J-Frame snub nose 5-shot .38 Special revolvers. You aren't "outgunned" with the Kahr MK9 or GLOCK G-43 because you now have 6+1 = 7 rounds compared to just 5. With the stock Sig P-365 you have 10+1 = 11 rounds. IF you need anymore rounds than that you are someplace you really shouldn't be or should simply carry your BIGGER pistols instead. IF I am expecting a problem these aren't the types of guns I am going to be carrying anyway. I want power, accuracy and sometimes capacity. There is no such thing as one "do it all" handgun and there never will be. As long as you keep that factor in mind you are golden and ready for anything that comes your way. I would never feel "dressed down" or '"under-armed" carrying 7 - 11 9mms just going out to eat or down to the grocery store for awhile. I'm not going into active combat in Iraq or Afghanistan nor am I visiting Compton California USA anytime soon. Over half of these people don't even have a pocket knife, much less a firearm where you will be going. You will be more than fine!

Great video. Just picked up a P365Xl and bought the Mag Guts kit. Looking to put an EPS Carry on it also. In terms of hostsers, is there a holster like the ALS, but for IWB carry?

If you can't shot accurately with iron sights, a laser or red dot won't do anything for you. Laser or red dot is merely faster target acquisition.

I tried Magguts on my 365. Bought two of them and wish I didn't waste my money. Constantly caused a failure to feed. Can't trust the product with my life.

too bad Magguts is so overpriced. they would sell so many more if they lowered the price to around 17. At aprx. 35, might as well buy another magazine and get 12 more rounds instead of 2.

I'd never place a light on a sidearm. You point the light, you're pointing the barrel and that's assault. No thanks.
