Omg!! I'm so glad you didn't have any damage from those chipmunks. You sure had a busy, crazy day! Glad you got your order still.

Me too!! It was insane but it all seemed to work out just in time. Josie had to go with us to pick up the Azure order. 😂

Wow! What a day y’all had! I am so glad that it was nothing serious with that truck. That cauliflower looks amazing! Let me know if that cream works for your skin, it looks interesting. Thanks for a great video! You guys are fun to watch!

@@Thehomesteadinghills thank you so much and for being with us on this homesteading adventure! We were sweating it out with the truck thankfully that was all it was! The tallow cream is working well for the cracked skin it just isn’t overnight but it’s healing so that’s what matters. 🌻

What a day! I have heard of squirrels and chipmunks eating wires but have never heard of this before.

@@kellyhale2778 it was so chaotic that I was completely done! I was ready to go to bed and start over. Ford manager said chipmunks around here are starting to store up for the winter. Not in this truck!

Good grief what an eventful day! Glad your fur baby is ok and the truck too. Dog food in the intake? The chipmunks put it there? Yikes! Question: do you have to blanch the mushrooms before freezing? Thanks. How are “our” chickens doing? lol

It was crazy and chaotic for sure! We had never seen anything like it either. No, I don’t blanch the mushrooms. It would just make them a soggy mess I think. I wash them real well and let them drain in a colander in the sink. After that I just slice them up and put them on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and put them in the freezer. As for “our” chickens 🐓 😉 - they are growing out nicely and have found their voice. I love it! I’ll get them on a video soon. 🌻

What are you going to do with the cauliflower?
@ruggedmountainhomestead2 ай бұрын
@@juliefultz6715 I have put 10 heads up. Canned 4 quarts and have 3 one gallon freezer bags full of flash frozen cauliflower. We ate two heads fresh.
