This Mellow Live Tone is the iconic warm sound most associated with BB King nowadays.
It’s a full tone that can wail with blues emotion. It works well with any pickup (examples in video). And can be used for crunchy riffs as well! (demo in the last minute of the video).
Audio is a direct recorded Strat with Fender Tex-Mex Pickups. All pickup positions sound good. This demo shows all 5 standard Stratocaster single coil pickup positions plus 3 humbacker type sounds made possible using a Freeway switch.

My goal is not to use the exact simulations of effects, amps etc. that the artist would use, but to get closest to the tone (even using the effects in an unusual way).
