@@prasad9002 first of all he didn’t have to do anything, he didn’t just say he chose Brooke ONLY because of the kids, he said deep down he preferred Taylor, which was shown loud and clear during the all time when he was chasing Taylor all over the place no matter how much she rejected him when he could have gone back to Brooke any time he wanted but he kept rejecting her.. Brooke was the only who finally relisized in 1999 the Taylor is the one Ridhe is in love with

And Taylor's rejections were the most pathetic and fake rejections on history of B&B and many other shows. She takes him back after 24-48 hours after rejection. Yes in 1999 Brooke knew that Ridge loves Taylor more and wants to be with her but Ridge never completely erased his feelings for Brooke.

@@prasad9002 I watched the scene several times and I wish I could find it now because he DID say that deep down he wanted her and it was only for the kids, “only” means that if it hadn’t been for the kids he would’ve chosen Taylor, as for the other bullshit stuff you said - 24 hours?? Really? And you’re telling me I should rewatch??? They were apart for months!! She totally blew him off after the fire incident, afterwards she even lied to him about her pregnancy just to drive him away , and up until then , again I say , for months and months he kept going out of his way to get her back while Brooke kept going after him but he didn’t want to go back to her, one time he told her “all I can think about is Taylor , I love her and I’m not gonna let her go” , that is preferring Taylor and the fact that I even have to explain it to you is quite disturbing.. Another quote from 2001 Taylor: when you found out Thomas was your son you left Brooke Ridge: I didn’t leave her because of Thomas, I left her because I was in love with you” Taylor: you loved her too Ridge: not the way I love you Enough with this stupid, twisted, pathetic denial , the truth is smacked right to your face
