to be honest there's something really beautiful about issei winning this battle. in the first bc one he was in he was taken out by victor in the first round. last year he lost to him again in the second round. to face against him as last year's champion for the third time and to win in the semifinals really does make issei the underdog. to top it off issei faced 2-time champion hong 10 in the finals and barely took it by one vote in his homeland. this is probably one of the best bc one world finals we've had in a while.

The thing with Victor is you'll always get very solid good rounds. Issei is so explosive and has such good highs and he hit those highs. Definitely deserved it hands down. I said 3-2 but never expected him to get 5-0.
