吃魚也有的, 但如果用大塊魚煲湯, 裡面的膠原蛋白有機會滲入湯內, 不用吃掉大塊魚

但是之前讀營養學的時候講師有說過人類的消化系統不太懂什麼是膠原蛋白,消化系統會將它們拆開變成氨基酸再吸收,這樣的效果對補充膠原蛋白的效用不大,反而吃足夠維他命C及蛋白質,對自身產生膠原蛋白效果更好,這個有什麼看法?謝謝

Hi Priscilla Is there any collagen suitable for vegetarians? Regarding cholesterol, is it okay to take a whole boiled egg? It is a waste of throwing out the yolk. Thank you very much in advance.

Collagen comes from animal foods only. People who have normal cholesterol can eat whole egg. If you eat egg, egg can provide good quality protein, together with vitamin C, your body can make collagen.

I googled it and per a research paper on the national library of medicine: Aquatic animals including jellyfish are excellent sources of collagen. Natural agents which have health-promoting effects are promising antiobesity substances and arouse increasing attention in recent years. The jellyfish had been used as a tasty food from ancient China. Recently, the nutritional value of jellyfish has been recognized which makes it popular in other countries. The jellyfish is rich in collagenous protein with no crude fat [2]. The collagen from jellyfish has been proved to exert many beneficial effects, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune-modulatory activities and lipid-lowering effect.

@chung4617,是的, 我記得中學上生物課時,也曾聽老師說過你提及類似的資料, 膠原旦白是旦白質的一種, 消化了就成了氨基酸被人體吸收, 但要膠原旦白在人體有須要的部份出現, 是否有某些食物比另一些較容易? 另 , 吃這些豐富膠原旦白/其他豐富旦白質的食物, 是否要配上其他另一些食物才有更好(即在人體合適的部位生產膠原旦白)的效果?

的確,膠原蛋白粉內的水解蛋白會較易吸收。但從食物內吸收一點膠原蛋白也不妨,因為身體不致於完全不能吸收。

I am doubtful for collagen-rich food intake is any useful for human. Correct me if I am wrong, from my high school biology knowledge and some youtube videos, collagen is just another form protein it is digestible by human body by breaking them down into amino acid only. Complex protein, does not matter what type it is, eventually they are absorbed in simple molecular form. IMO there is no point on focusing on taking collagen rich food, just eat more protein or any essentials that encourage our body to make collagen should be the way.

yes, that was the old belief. In recent years, there are many research done that show collagen can effectively reduce wrinkles: For your sharing: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8824545/ It is believed that special amino acids broken down from collagen may have trigger receptors and stimulate the synthesis of collagen. However, it is true that hydrolyzed collagen peptides from supplements may be more effective than whole foods though.
