My headcanon is that Becky was actually the first to go through the broken portal, and that they're two halves of the same centaur. Probably did it intentionally to moonlight as a cake chef in the human world, but forgot or failed to fix the portal changes one day. It would explain Gary's apparent ability to manifest cakes even as a skeleton.

I think what would be really interesting is if Becky is used as a parallel to Horse (well the show kinda did that but that went nowhere so…) but think about it. Becky is basically a ruthless killing machine that doesn’t seem to feel or react to anything, while Horse, although is also like that, is more emotional and impulsive. Even though she’s been at war for basically her whole life, she hadn’t really “lost it”, like becoming so used to the horrors and awful conditions of war so much that you become this mindless drone devoid of life that only does what it’s told without question. Becky isn’t exactly like that, but she seems like this soulless vigilante with an eternal monotone expression on her face. Imagine if they actually explored that in the show? It would be ten times more interesting than just “oh Horse is jealous of Becky because she’s this and that, etc.”Plus it would make Becky more interesting as a character, just saying.
