Good video. I buy from both, but favor B&H for just the reasons you stated. B&H doesn't try to pawn off gray market items on the unwary. In general, B&H customer service is very good. They also have a 30 day price drop guarantee.

Another point is at the check-out. Amazon doesn't take Paypal, B&H does. The reason this is important to me is that the reason I can afford to shop at B&H is because I don't have a credit card.

True. If an item in amazon is Used OR doesn't mention its used or new (which I fell for) then it's used. I was wondering why someone would sell an iPad Pro 10.5 in for $500. B&H doesn't collect tax from where I'm from.

I am a Prime member and everything is easy and simple if you want to return something, but you are right in a very small number of items of the product, yesterday I looked for this product, Fimi X8 SE Prime does not have it only from third parties, when you advise business with third parties, Everything It is very different, I have never made a purchase with B&H until I look at their commercials, everything looks very good, I hope I have not made a bad decision.. By the way thanks you take your time and create videos like this. 🙂👍

From B&H Photo My package took weeks to arrive. I took a couple days to open it and it took a couple days to be charged and ready to go. A week later I am in another country, and it dies as in bit the bullet dead. It took them some time to get back to me, then they say SORRY it's over 30 days since you ordered & I have to take it up with the MFG ---> SO - THEIR MINDS - THE COUNTDOWN TIMER starts when you order. STupid me!

Thank you for posting this video. I thought of buying from Amazon or B and H. For me B and H is much more inclined with me. My brother has purchased not so par product from Amazon and they used third party supplier. My cheap headsets came from another supplier and not directly from Manufacturer for the same price. it look like it was repackaged and then resold but they say its new.

Yes, B&H is generally a more premium experience. I've had some annoyances with them lately with a lot of items being out of stock, but that's understandable considering the circumstances. I've learned to NOT place an order if the item is out of stock - you just end up waiting for weeks. As long as it's in stock, they're still shipping in a timely manner.

Online purchasing is one thing but returning a defective product is a whole different universe made uncomfortably complicated and certainly not customer friendly. If it costs a bit more at a store counter, go for it!

I have been purchasing from B&H since 1975 when they had multi-page adds in Modern Photography Magazine. I will purchase anything I need from B&H if they sell it, even if it costs more. Best retailer in the country.

B&h sold me a used $1000 motherboard as new and when returned claimed they cannt accept it due to bent pins. Don't ever buy from b&h photo.

I just buy 5d test it didn't like it and return it for a full refund. I think we should use Amazon as a product testing platform so we can test use their product and return to a received full refund because that is their policy

They allow returns on everything except computers. They'll take the computer back if you haven't opened it, but as soon as the seal is broken, it's a no go. I've always found that policy a bit bothersome.

WARNING!!!!! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!!!! Do not order from BHVIDEO. You are risking your money and the chance of not receiving your product. They do not have any integrity if something happends to your order. And they absolutely take no accountability for ordered products. I’m not kidding either. I’ll be making a short video rant about my huge complaint that involves $8000 that I lost to them for a camera I never recieved. They totally ripped me off completely. They’re a bunch of crooks.
