I lived in Yanai in 1984. It was a happy time for me. Yanai is a beautiful town, and the people are so kind. Thank you for sharing this. I’ll watch this many times.
Not a speck of litter or trash in the waterway. Wow! So much respect for Japanese and their pride in maintaining /cleaning their country

Another masterpiece. There's no other channel on KZbin that captures the spiritual soul of Japan as beautifully and serenely as yours. Long may it continue!
I love this smooth escape to a dreamy town with beautiful architecture and sweet lanterns throughout! I find myself calm while floating down the narrow streets and alleyways :) I love seeing the flowing water and mountains in the distance. The train scene was cool, I love the coastal views. The night scene with the lanterns lit up was my favorite! Thank you for this peaceful experience of Yanai City! 🙏🇯🇵❤️👍

You say: Thank you for watching... I say: No, Thank YOU for filming!
Oh, wow. That transition from the night with the ambient noises to daylight in the same location is wonderful! I love the Koi lights, the narrow streets, and whatever the large building is at 2:10. The combination of white walls with the aged (stained and aged?) wood is lovely. The natural weathering is a patina that this place wears with pride 2:45. To live next to the river must be amazing. The merchant home museum continues the theme of weathering and aging beautifully. The shot at 5:10 wins the prize. And, of course, that lonely beached fishing boat... Thank you Anna! So much in this video. Another lovely town beautifully recorded.

Hello, my friend. Thank you for the good music and video today. ^^❤️
Anna… I can’t even put into words what I feel when I watch your videos. Any word seems so much less important than the feelings you create in us, the viewers. You have such good taste and flawless technique! I would love so much to see you filming, and observe your equipment and filming technique! I can’t really even have a hint of how you do it. At Zen Walks, I try to go very stable, but never like what you do in your channel, which is absolutely divine! My equipment is also very modest. You’re always a permanent inspiration to me. I wish you all the best, always!! :)

I really like Japan, like the festivals, the food and the streets. I already have COE but because of Corona pandemic I was not granted a VISA which makes me very sad. But when I watch a lot of your videos, it makes me try harder to study, even though I passed the N2 exam, my listening and conversation are still very limited. Thank you so much that I can keep my dream of coming to Japan one day.

In Shikoku Ehimei Matsumaya, I met a french old couple. They told me, they might need 8 to 10 years to cover the entire Shikoku Pilgrimage 88 temples. Vividly then I have comforted them. No good dream ever die, and their dream will forever alive.

Thank you for always watching my video. Goldfish lanterns were made by Yanai merchants for children 150 years ago. It is said that a person named Saburo Kumagai, who ran a candle shop, started making goldfish lanterns inspired by the goldfish Neputa in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture.

Finally I can watch your latest video, Anna. I like this video (I don't know why this video looks calm and makes me feel comfortable, relaxed. Of course 5 Star 🌟 for you). Is that a goldfish-shaped lantern made from paper? Is Yanai City a small town in Yamaguchi Prefecture? Merchant House Museum is a must-visit place for tourists? Hmm.. Obatake Train Station looks like a great place to snap a keepsake photo (i like it, Anna). Anna, What the main job people do im Yanai City? PS: I can't wait for your next video, Bring us a new smooth, Relaxed, master piece, beautiful, nice and Of course A Great Video 👏👍

Thank you for always watching my video. I'm glad that you enjoyed this video. It is said that a person named Rinsaburo Kumagai, who ran a candle shop 150 years ago, started making goldfish lanterns, inspired by the goldfish Neputa in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. It seems that the dye of the traditional textile "Yanai-jima: Yanai Stripes" was used for the color of the lantern of the goldfish.
2:49 2:49 the sign says 「かにが路上を横切ります…」which means ‘Crabs will cross the streets, so people and cars, please be careful.’ how cute is that 🦀 🦀
