Looks primitive but gosh… slope preparation back then was primitive (in the 2nd run the top 5 started first) and the skis were not made for turning. Phil Mahre was great and won three totals, as did Stenmark. Ingemar Stenmark holds an unbeatable record: FIS will never again change the rules to stop a particular athlete from winning.
