It is an addictive sound! She's currently wearing a JDM ITR 4-1 Header, which augments the sound as well. The exhaust is a Buddy Club Spec 2 system, basically a straight pipe with a silencer on the end. In my other video showing the whole build up to date, I take her through a tunnel and make beautiful music haha

Thanks, she doesn't get driven as often as in the past, still have her though. Will have to do a video of the build on this CRX and more some day

It was for me, since I was replacing the Water Pump at the same time.

Why remove the engine mount? Clearance for the tensioner? I'm 1 tooth outa time & don't want to move it even to tow to a mech

The Engine Mount is removed to get the Timing Belt off of the Engine. If you are only moving the belt Timing-Wise, you may not need to remove the Engine Mount. Definitely make sure the Timing is correct before starting the Engine, don't want to Bend the Valves!

When turning the engine counterclockwise by hand I noticed a ticking noise by the clutch is this normal?

Maple, is your engine in the car or has it been removed from the car? Also, if the transmission is still attached, is it in-gear? Make sure the transmission is in Neutral

did you find different lengths on the water pump bolts? 2 long and 3 shorts

Correct, they were different lengths. If you have to source bolts, there are aftermarket options available online or through your local Tuner Shops. The junkyard can also be a good place to find OEM parts that are still in nice shape.

Showed everything that was available to show. There was no power steering or A/C, and the timing belt covers were already off. Those are not difficult things to remove if you remove the L/H side engine mount as shown
