Great video and a really nice touch to make it more cinematic in memory of the crew that lost their lives 👏

A reminder of how fragile life is and how quickly it can be taken away. Very respectfully done with the right amount of footage showing the beauty and tragedy of the area. Well done.

Wow! I live a few miles from here but I've never seen it. I'd love to go up there one day if I could definitely find it. I wouldn't want to be troubling the fantastic Edale Mountain Rescue team.

My best advice if youre not wanting to go the long way we did in the video is to park on Snake Road. There youll see a pathway which leads up to the crash site. 🙂 if you go on a weekend there should be a few cars parked on the side of the road and hopefully someone will be kind enough to direct you safely.

It’s an amazing, moving place isn’t it. I was up there recently, amazed at how much is there.

Yes it's a little surreal to think its been over 70 years and its still there even the tyres
@JerryMeandering4 жыл бұрын
Yes! The tyres surprised me too, and the shininess of some of the panels. Anyway, as it’s chucking it down I just fell down a youtube black hole & watched you bike to Cleethorpes & back 🤣 Nice one, I canned Barnsley to Whitby last weekend looking at the forecast and as it turned, glad I did! It’ll happen. 👍

@@JerryMeandering yeah i loved it but was hard going on the cheap bike. Managed to raise a good amount so cant complain. Luckily the weather was perfect. Guessing you'll be off again when it turns better weather?
@JerryMeandering4 жыл бұрын
Expedition Dean Hopefully! It looks like you dropped on one of those boiling hot days we had. Somewhere in between would be fine eh :) I had a few bike plans this year which of course didn’t happen so we just have to hope things carry on improving!

@@JerryMeandering hopefully 🙏 as i still want to get out and about. Although i dont mind a rainy hike but better when you can see past the clouds.
