Loving the video boys, would love to see a GTO experiment mule as the next series, different engines, different gearbox options, angle kits, the works 😂 maybe alot too ask but aussies dont really have many options for drift parts for cheap when it comes to our GTO's / Commodores, the Commodore from VT to VZ all share the same subframe points as the GTO, so seeing some variety in a car that only had the typical 3800/L67 and LS engines, nothing different other then that, would love to see any type of engine done in a gto, just seeing the bmw get the sauce makes me feel like i wanna see any car get the sauce 😂 GTO might be my number one 😂🤙🏾🇦🇺

I've been wanting to build my own simulator rig but have never welded before, basic tips for something like that would be very helpful!
@F1-PassionАй бұрын
That’s a Difficult job to do not the welding but building a simulator and making it work in sync with a computer and stuff but fair play if you do it bro 😊
@pepomanoАй бұрын
I'd use aluminum extruded profiles, it's a bit more expensive than steel but easy to work with and you don't have to weld it. Using these will also make your rig adjustable because the bolts can slide in the slots of the profile. Ofcourse you need a CAD program to plan it al out and get your measurements. Maybe check out the Track Racer stuff, they use it as well
@D1570R73DАй бұрын
@@pepomano Thanks for the advice, but part of the reason I want to build it myself is the cost, every prebuilt one I see is overpriced for what it is. Those aluminum pieces are overpriced as well, when you compare them to basic steel square tubes. Also, If I go the welding route, I end up with a welder and a new skill.

Someone needs to make JZ style engine covers for the B58 and other modern engines that just lazily put a massive plastic shell over an absolute mess. It would really suit the build that you're doing too, ditching the integrated intake for a front mount...

Skip TJ HUNTS car. He never ever mentions you guys for putting the car back together. Lack of appreciation is wild. Yall deserve all the flowers.
@cobratunerАй бұрын
He literally did an entire video on it at Drift HQ. He's not sponsored by them so why would he? You expect him to shout them out every time you see his Z? You expect Collete to shout out the builder of her new E46 every time she drives it too? Get outta here with that negative shit dude.
@carlooooo0Ай бұрын
@@cobratuner why would collete shout out the person that built the e46. She BOUGHT it. He no sponsored by driftHQ? They literally built him a new car minus the body work. If thats not a sponsorship, then I don’t know what is. Of course he should keep shouting them out, he don’t rock any dhq stickers. That car was destined to be sold and they gave it a new life. And now they about to build him a whole new pro car. I know you probably love TJ, but make some sense my guy.
@Projekt5.3Ай бұрын
@@carlooooo0 Did they build it for free or at a hell of a discount? Because if not then they didn't sponsor it. Idk if they did or didn't, I'm js
@cobratunerАй бұрын
@@carlooooo0 With your logic Collete would have to shout out the builder like TJ shouting out DHQ. TJ paid for a service, and she bout one that was built by someone. Its the same thing. It doesn't matter. Rad Dan built the car originally but didn't always give him credit unless he was talking about a part or something. TJ in videos has mentioned DHQ when talking about the upgrades they did. That car is only around still cause LZ suggested that he take it and have it brought up to spec. I don't care about these dudes. They're all entertainers that don't know any of us exist. But saying fuck TJs car is wild just because he wont give them extra credit for doing their job. Ken Block didn't give RTR any credit for the Hoonicorn? Why? Cause they weren't a sponsor.
@carlooooo0Ай бұрын
@@Projekt5.3 they are not a performance shop. All those builds are either product development, Adam’s or Duarte or team mates cars. All tj had to probably pay was (COST) on some parts, so they didn’t make any money and drift hq was probably was able to sponsor some parts that was specific to their own sponsors. Listen, if they don’t care about the ROI on it, that’s fine. It just gives that not appreciative KZbinr vibe. But good work is hard to find and it ain’t cheap. Just want to give drift hq their flowers.
