There are some 2100 class locomotives were imported to China for the South Manchuria Railway during the Japanese occupation period. At first their track gauge is 1,067, same to the gauge in Japan. In 1908, they converted the gauge to standard gauge and 2100 class was classified as Mantetsu Class 2120. The Chinese did not want this engine, so they imported them to Taiwan for the construction of the railway in Miaoli. After the World War ll ended, the Taiwan Railways Administration began to take over the railway. 2100 was classified as Taiwan Railways Class CK80. Today that none of the CK80s have preserved. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/71/Construction_of_the_railway_bridge_over_the_Teufun_River.jpg
