B6200 Build Ep1 - The New Engine!

Yo man, what are your plans with the build? Na 6.2 or are you planning for boost? What trans? Axel swap or stock rear end?

Starting with NA, that’s why I went with the L92. Going to go with a 4L80, and run the stock axle until I blow it apart. Part of the plan is to make this thing just a good ass driver! Get it low, go 5 lug and match it up with the FC

@theoegarage hell yeah, don't skimp on cooling if you plan on putting down any power, I've got a 91 b2200 with a 5.3 and a 93mm precision and let me tell you, these little engine bays don't breathe too well. You will melt pistons if you don't address it but man of you do you're going to fall in love, also I look forward to seeing what you do on your front lug conversion, I'm pretty sure I over complicated mine lol

@@sk8erman2298 thanks for the heads up! Just went through and took some measurements of the front clip and admittedly that’s a pretty small opening for a radiator overall. I’m not sure that cutting it out really improves the overall space. As far as the 5 lug conversion goes, it does look like Kei Fabrication sells a “bolt on” front setup.

How’s the clearance on the steering side? What are your thoughts for the exhaust system?

Honestly looking pretty good so far. I’m planning on running a full system, probably 2-1 with a single exit setup though.
