Enroute, we rarely do much but I'll try incorporate it also limiting video length to a max of 13 mins or less based on research and current stats. As for emergencies, it's part of the plan, later on. I’m not a pilot but I guess it depends on the weight or loading conditions of the aircraft. I once flew onboard a lightly filled B767-200 departing Gatwick Airport to the U.S. and the plane took off with no flaps. I was sitting in my favorite spot, window seat just aft of the wing so I had full view. I was slightly panicked as we rolled down the runway but the plane took off with no effort. I never experienced that before or since, but I guess there are conditions when you don’t need them for takeoff.

Thank you. Much appreciated. Flap ONE is the most commonly used flap for takeoff on the 737. A high flap setting gives a better climb angle and is recommended for areas with high terrain around the vicinity of the aerodrome.

In other airlines, FOs wear 3 bars but I dont mind two as there is no additional benefit. In addition, promotions to Captain are based on seniority AND suitability. I'm quite junior 😁
