It;s called SOP, standard operating procedures,, based on what was learned from hundreds of air crashes, with thousands killed.. due to sloppy procedures, pilots.. drunk, drugged, hung over, fatigued, outside problems affecting concentration, below standard etc etc. Today.. nearly every flight would be operated with this professionalism (Rtd Airline Check Capt. As a black woman, I am proud to see black women getting away from the office jobs and other jobs that were only available to them. Thanks to the parents who have worked very hard to support their daughters with their education so that they could reach such great heights. For a society like Africa where men seem to be in charge, I am glad that things are changing. Nevertheless, she was a pilot for 19 years, which means things have been changing for some time now.
