Hi Obet! A bit of an unusual question I suppose, but do you happen to know what would happen if you 'tripped' the alternative landing gear switch in a situation where the gear is working perfecly fine, let's just imagine a toddler breaks through the reinforced, bullet proof door and flips the guard switch and both alternative gear switches and holds the 2 sec unlock button (on the -400). Would it be possible to raise the landing gear after or would it still be possible to theoretically use the landing gear lever to raise the gear afterwards? Thanks for any answers you can give.

Amazing explanation, I notice there is a black line with a 'X' located between the side window and the front window. @0:02, what is the purpose of that time? to align the seat so the eye height is correct? Thank you.

Excellent video, but the nose gear doesn't even show "in transit" before the body gear is down and locked. Obviously nothing to do with weight. The unlocking mechanism must simply be slower. The up indication sensors are monitoring the uplock hooks on the nose gear. Trick question: why don't you get a GEAR DISAGREE message when all the gear is up and the gear lever is OFF?

@@pilot_obet In answer to my earlier question: The aircraft electrical system doesn't know that the lever is in OFF, it only knows whent the lever is in the DOWN detent or not in the Down detent. You can generate a gear disagree simply by pulling the lever out (not moving it from Down) and waiting for the required time period.
