@ 28:00 what leads to or causes all that damage? Let's say those items don't have any damage... .... what measures are we taking to prevent them from getting damaged in the future ?

It happens when people continue to drive the vehicle after they know it has a problem. It wears the clutch so much the piston will contact the gear when it applies. Tell people to quit driving when they know it has a problem.

if there is a problem where the rings ride on the shaft, do you replace the valve body plates that were in your hand @20:08 ?

2nd gear on the secondary shaft.

glazed ? I assume you're looking at the steels. Do you scuff them up with some emery cloth or something else to take the glass off and help bed in the new friction plates ?

The glazing was on the clutches. I replace all of them every time. As far as steels go I do not like scuffing them with sand paper, I prefer to replace them. I don't like they way it makes them shift when you scuff them.

so if the pockets are eaten into by the teeth in the shaft, I'd imagine that means bearings should be replaced @ 22 mins of video ?

At22 min. I am talking about the cushion plate eating a groove into the steels. Yes they should be replaced.
