Was actually surprised to see the BA-11 in game given that it never left the prototype stage (only 17 BA-11s were ever built). Comparatively, 3300 BA-10s were built and were used extensively throughout WW2. BA-10 should have been the vehicle used in this game.

The BT7 qnd BT5 could and sometimes would run on road wheels only. In fact it was designed to remove the tracks as to not destroy or damage paved and brick roads in the homeland. As it had enough torque to rip them right out. One of them was designed to use roadwheels as primary and only equip tracks when expecting to have to traverse rough or muddy terrain. I forget which though.

Car to haltrack technology is from the 1910's. In WWI the Russians converted a number of French armored cars into haltrack pseudotanks by mounting rubber tracks over the rear axles.

Speaking on dropping bombs out of the seat. The early aircraft in WW1 would literally have a box/bag between the legs or on the lap of the pilot/gunner and he would reach out and drop everything from mortars, impact fused artillery shells, various types of grenades, and even the French dropped bundles of flechettes (glorified lawn darts) into trenches. Same with the earliest dog fighters before they mounted guns or developed the propeller driven gun firing timer to keep you from shooting your own prop off, dog fighters and rear gunners would literally fly around trying to shoot eachother with everything from revolvers, to shotguns, to early SMGs. There's a story of a Pacific pilot in WW2 killing a Japanese pilot with a 1911. If I remember correctly, he had bailed and was parachuting towards the ocean and the Japanese pilot was trying to taunt or kill him and opened his canopy and got nailed by dudes 1911 lol

I don't blame Mighty for panicking at the M2A2. I remember when that thing came out. It was broken as all fuck. For some reason it had all the penetrative power of the Panzer II's 20mm with 10x the ammo and twice the fire rate, and the vehicle itself practically had Arcade physics even in Realistic. I still tunnel vision it and the M18 to this day.
