In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Silent. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Literally took them on my very first time playing STS. It was on my friend's account so Clad had some unlocks already, and I managed to get so much healing and Strength gain that I almost beat the Heart on my very first run.

Yeah it takes some time to figure out when to take events. It's a pretty complex portion of the game.

Same. I've never seen him remotely annoyed, at least oj the outside(he may have been on the inside), but this one got him. He got that classic Spire BS I get every time I play. 😂

Also consider Portal to Boss if you have an infinite deck that is complete. You're probably pathing to avoid Events anyway in case of Falling but if new cards or relics won't help you anyway then time to zoom.

I had an awesome jaxx/bite/Feed run, made it to the heart with 120 health, but the game decided I wasn't going to draw my defense cards when the heart was attacking. Ah well, lesson learned, more draw

Hey Baalor, great vid! Why not upgrade Neutralize instead of Sucker Punch at the first campfire? It's 1 less damage increase, but it still gives the same weak coverage, and you'll play neutralize pretty much every time you draw it for the rest of the game, whereas sucker punch you may not play sometimes because of the cost. Is the 1 extra damage that important?

I really don't understand the choice to not get the curse when you'll had it for only one fight ^^' Yeah, it's an elite fight, but the chance to have the curse and no merchant to remove it from the deck is big, and then it's two boss fights with a curse XD
