@@joerobinson1672 Pete can be kind of arrogant. Maybe he didn't like the competition. Jimmy page was a far better guitar player than him. But it seems like Roger and Robert have been friends a long time, so that's cool!

​@@joerobinson1672well that's because led Zeppelin were on a mission to present black blues back to America in a different form and Pete Townshend was not on that same mission. Pete was not a representative of the blues in any way but of the rock genre but Zeppelin was bastardizing the blues in their own way and it was very foreign to Pete because he didn't understand what they were trying to do. In other words the one right over his head . But the who are awesome. 😊

Led Zeppelin was a blues band and the who were a rock band so of course he does not going to understand what led Zeppelin is trying to do because he's not a true blues player. If you don't understand something chances are you tend to market or make fun of it .

Eddie Vedder practiced that song at the Chicago Blackhawks Chris Chelios Jersey retirement a couple weeks ago...great tribute done for Chris by Eddie after the ceremony---playing this song and then announcing he was leaving for London to play with The Who. Plant looked and sounded great in this video...thanks for sharing it.

Violinist is Katie Jacoby. Regular member of The Who's touring ensemble. Saw her recently with Phil Lesh and Friends. She is extraordinary!

She was awesome. Very talented. Also very inspiring. She wasn't up there doing sexual moves...so refreshing. She focuses on playing her violin. She gets 5 stars from me! Roger has still got it. I saw the Tommy movie several times. Roger was my heart throb back then! I wish we could go back to when....

Seen the Who do this song and almost everything else off “Live at Leeds” in Frankfort Germany 1972- they were promoting “Who’s Next” IMO their best album, by far. - what a fantastic show.
