I'm kinda disappointed because Polo looked defeated all match long. Immediately after his first round, he was already throwing up his hands and telling the crowd not to cheer for him and such. I actually thought his first round was quite decent although i agree with him babeli had a huge first round. Still not really a reason to give up though. The judges obviously thought that Polo was performing just as well as babeli because they wanted an extra round.

He performed really well, I loved his beats! Polo just does another type of beatbox, more chilled, less focused on power, he wasn't as far behind as he thought - even if it seems like power is valued the most with recent tournaments (NaPoM, KIM, Babeli taking top spots) the judges know, that it's not everything and a different style is appreciated. Just as you said, they took it to a bonus round and I would have actually done the same. Polo was really awesome, I even felt that he was slightly ahead in round two (and slightly behind in round one)!

I liked polo here because he isnt reliant on power sounds as 90% of the beatbox community(or unique sound). But i am expecting more from polo in the near future. Babeli did a godd job too one of his better musical rounds in la cup 2015. I have a similar style to polo but i have use of more power sounds. I know he know power sounds but probably decided not to use. All n all great battle but i do feel an extra round wasnt needed.

Not saying Polo is bad, but his style is very weak, it lacks power... He has a little bit more musicality than Babeli but still Babeli won on the technical parts and I think he did better in this battle, there was no reason for the extra round in my opinion

The only one thing that bothers me with Babeli is his tendency to remove the mic from his mouth or down to his throat. It just seems like the cheapest crowd-pleasers in the book. And that's coming from someone who can do nothing when it comes to beatboxing, so take it very very very seriously.
