Thanks for the review. I was wondering how this racquet compares to the Pure Aero 2019 in terms of swing weight, power and comfort on the arm (reading reviews that the Aero is more prone to cause arm issues).
@MikeKomen3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support Joshua! I’m surprised people are finding the aero less comfortable than the drive, I had the opposite experience. I got a lot more spin from the aero also found it a bit more forgiving than the drive. On the other hand you get more more from the drive. Hope that helps!

Can u review the EZONE 98 tour? Also, I'm interested in picking up the Vcore 95, but saw a few reviews saying that is underpowered and lacks stability, would u say that too?
@MikeKomen4 жыл бұрын
I found that the stability and power were good for me but it’s definitely not the most powerful frame out there. If that’s a bother for you with the frame you can add some weight at 3 and 9 to add a bit more on the plow and stability.

What's the difference between the pure drive, the pure aero, and the pure strike? I imagine the point would be to accentuate a different facet, but what would those facets be? Other than that, at what point are they the same racquets with different names and paint jobs? (Not saying they're the same, just wanting to understand their differentiation that's more than superficial.)
@MikeKomen4 жыл бұрын
The aero is all about maximizing spin while the drive is about maximizing power. They go about it in different ways for example the higher stiffness of the drive and the aerodynamic shape of the aero, among other factors. Hope great helps and thanks so much for watching Don!

Hello, Can somebody help me?, i bought the Pure Drive(strung) online today, i asked the tennis shop to measure the specs for me, according to them all specs are pretty much spot on except an extra 6g of weight, they told me balance is 32.5 mm( 7 pts head light) yet when i balance the throat of the racket on my finger it is pretty much evenly balanced, so no towards the head nor the handle.., does this mean the stated 32mm balance is incorrect?.. , by the way the strings are Rmp blast 17g whit an Wilson sensation overgrip , would really appreciate your opinions!

Hey Martin, I’m not sure what happened with your racquet but hopefully someone had a similar experience that can help!

I weighted the racket, actually weight is right, it's 301g so great but the balance is not, seems like 33.5cm or 34cm, strung whit an overgrip, any idea if I would have to put to much weight to bring it to around 32 cm balance or 4 pts HL? , Was thinking to put some weight at 12 o clock and 3 and 9 for extra swingweight and stability but whit this balance I am not sure I can whitout making it too heavy...

@@MikeKomen Right :) I think it's officially part of the 2021 line. This is actually a pretty common thing and not just in tennis, that (some) models of 2021 are released already in the Q4 of 2020. Dunlop, for instance, will be releasing a new CX line 2021 but some of the racquets in it will see the light of day already this year.

A lot of talk on this review which contradict a lot of the play that we see ... at times, very high launch angle and the stringbed looks erratic and certainly looks like targets aren't being hit accurately enough. Perhaps it could well be that you've strung low to protect your arm and alas, hitting the ball way too late for the accuracy needed. Ok, it's not the racquet's fault, but all in all, looks like The Tail is Wagging the Dog ... It's a Pass for me.
