Ok, since I started to watch TennisSpin a while back, I remember Harry disecting Rafa's 2008 Wimbledon match winning racket. The specs differ a bit from the signature racket as follows: 2018 Wimbledon racket: Weight -339 Balance-333 Swingweight -361 Signature Racket: Weight -340 Balance-338 Swingweight -375 If the signature racket is what he plays now, then my guess is that he has gotten much stronger since 2008 and increased the weight on the racket.

RF97 Vs Rafa Origin 100 - Strung weight 357 Vs 340 / Flex 68 Vs around 70 (spec listed as 73) / 9 pts HL Vs 1.5 pts HL/ Swing weight 333 Vs 375. So Rafa Origin is lighter but with higher swing weight than RF97.

A collectors item. Great to have for any fan. Puts you in Rafa’s shoes and that’s awesome. It’s why I bought (and have) a K-Tour 90. I’m terrible with it (I use a 100 head). , but it makes me smile every time I use it for 20 minutes or so

Yep spot on, i'm using this frame for the last 4 months and it destroyed my elbow, and the swing weight on mine is ''only'' 354 grams, i have to revert back to the 2019 aero rafa with a more reasonable swing weight of 325 grams

Awesome review! The paint job is cool. It is not as good looking as the 2019 Rafa PA paint job. The specs are off the chart. It will be a fun collectible. I think the lighter spec would be the option to go with for most players wanting to seriously play with the frame.

But what about the big elephant in the room question!!! Is it the original Aero Pro Drive pre Cortex of just heavy spec current model ???? The other elephant I know, it’s gonna cost $350 a piece !!! Saying that I have the OG aero that Rafa actually plays with, at one point I had it at 375 grams strung with all the lead in head so it was around 375 swingweight, and I was playing great, but it looked like crap because all the lead made it silver 😂 I recently modified iRadical to make it almost exactly like Djokovic frame at 355 grams 355 swingweight, and it’s probably the best racquet I’ve ever hit, every says high swingweight is horrible for amateur players, and it is, but first 30 minutes feel like Heaven!!! So far big 3 racquet rating by me is #1 Novak iRadial 95 (his pro stock is very close to it and same mold) #2 Rafa APD original heavy spec #3 RF97 (solid and great just least favorite of the 3 GOATS frames)

I’m all for cool racquet colors - I even liked the orange creamsicle radical and love the avocado extreme mp - but this racquet design is ugly beyond. Not sure what they were thinking with this mix of colors! I’d consider buying this for fun to have a racquet with nadals specs to tool around with from time to time, but hard to justify that with the price and especially with how nasty it looks 🤪

While I agree with you that Rafa’s racket is much harder to use than Roger’s, Roger’s racket is not people friendly either. Super low powered unforgiving frame with a tiny sweet spot, there’s a reason why 99% of the pros don’t use a similar racket or similar spec.

Guys do not buy this racket if you are not at least a pro level with excellent technique and above average fitness. It sounds good on paper but this one will destroy your wrist, elbow or/and shoulder in the long run if you are not properly trained and have flawless technique.
