Human hand can touch and save lives. I enjoy seeing this because not always human hand can touch and do harm. If those eaglets have been in the wrong hands the story would be different. I'm glad that are OK with their parents where they should be and not in some sanctuary. Mama eagle was stressed out and worry for her babies because she's the one who's there for them, protecting from bad weather, intruders and feed them. Daddy too in his way for providing food, protecting his entire family. I'm glad everything turn up OK and for those who did such a great job.. hats down. 🙇🏼

Sequim, Washington No one knows exactly how they got so far away from the nest after presumably falling or just walking out of it.

They were examined by the vet in town and there were no puncture wounds at all. And the nest was nearly flat with no "bowl". I suspect they wrestled their way over the edge and fell into the underbrush.

While I agree with the posters' accolades for the people who did the work to return these babies to their nest, I didn't see any efforts to prevent "imprinting" upon humans. (Hoods, concealed faces, etc.) Did the wildlife people not think it was necessary?

If it is true, why are a lot of birds banded? I tell you why, because the smell "nonsense" is false.

That is an old myth, that birds will reject young birds due to them being handled. Wildlife rescue groups distribute little flyers trying to educate people. These eaglets were accepted and later fledged. All good 👍👍👍
