Because people speak out of ignorance those that say that. Any and every person who has owned a pet or rehabbed any wild animal knows animals have feelings. Many people who have never lived with one also know. Narcissists have no feeling towards other human beings so they conclude animals are even more simple than they are, so pick , they're either ignorant , narcissistic, or trolling. Animals are probably more in tune with their feelings than people . Horses have a magnetizing effect in their heart ❤️ 5 times stronger than that of a human. And a human heart can be measured up to 10 feet(more or less) in radius I believe. And 🐎 ❤️ is 5 times that of human. I used to stand around a couple horses at my old work place and I felt Serene when I was right next to one. Instinctively I knew that it was the horse producing a calming effect on me and later(recently ) I learned that it's because of the horses heart coherence. If you want to try something that will open your eyes on heart coherence then please look up tibetan bowls heart chakra video on KZbin by temple sounds , he has 2 short videos about 10 -11 min long each, wearing red and wearing black clothes, listen to these videos while using headphones 🎧, sit somewhere quiet and close your eyes and focus on your heart area and you will be amazed what sound can do to you physically. For your information, there are both Zoos and free range establishments that allow animals to live out there lives in a safe and secure environment where they won't become trophies and meat jerky for sicko hunters and prey animals in an environment that they have not been conditioned to survive in. The other point is, after they have been domesticated, they are at a disadvantage to survive in the wild.

I’ve got a bunny and I gotta say, he is the least afraid animal I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t care about the vacuum, my cat who try’s to play with him (they are buds though), etc. btw “exotic” is somewhat true. I need to bring him to an exotic vet but he really isn’t what you’d normally think of as an exotic animal.

Yes!! They should get her a partner in crime to look after the fawns together! It always breaks my heart to see group animals like rabbits without another one of the same species, no matter how obviously great the intentions are of the owners.

Actually, that isn’t always the case. The reason why people say to get a second rabbit is if the owner is away a lot. If they aren’t away alot, and spend alot of time with their rabbit, a second rabbit isn’t necessarily needed, and depending on what their particular rabbits temperament is, not always recommend.

The vast majority of rabbits would be happiest a mate or multiple friends. An owner isn't around the whole day, other rabbits would be.

@@lucky4leafedclover442 In some countries (Switzerland...) it is forbidden to keep a rabbit without a partner rabbit. When you see how lovely they interact with each other, you know you will never keep a rabbit alone! We have three, and they really need each other.

Here in the Netherlands unfortunately most rabbits live alone, but most rabbit shelters nowadays refuse to sell them solo, unless you've already got a rabbit and are looking for a friend. It's more acknowledged now how they're group animals, but we've got a long way to go still.
