Baby Driver is my FAVORITE movie bro. I’ve recently finished the honeymoon phase with my feelings on this movie however, this doesn’t change the fact that this movie really affected my personal life and career as a whole.

100%. Looking back, I realized Edgar Wright has been present in my life for as long as I remember because my mom LOVED Shaun of the dead and then I loved Scott pilgrim and then baby driver years later. He’s an inspiration.

I watched this movie back when it first came out when I was in 6th grade, I still watch it at least once a month because I notice so many things every single watch. I’m honestly so glad someone else loves this movie so much and I wouldn’t mind a 5 hour video about this film lol. This channel is just awesome

This rocks!! Love the new insight! Especially the color of Baby's shirt. I love Baby Driver. It was my fav film from 2017. Personally, it's the best opening sequence to a movie and the music. INCREDIBLE. Love the essays!

I saw this movie when I was 17 and it was amazing! I’ve always been a music nerd since I was 15.The music in these movies is so good! I related to the character as I always made music and I was so introverted when I was in high school and 0 friends (the 0 friends didn’t last until junior year I meet my best friend who was also a loner too lol)

Hey, you should check out the Stray Kids MVs... they are exactly like that. Watch it 50 times, you still will find new things to discover. Most of times it seems quite messy, but every single detail has a meaning and a purpose. All of this is true for their music, their choreos and their music videos.

The movie didn't age well in my opinion. A lot of the stuff that was supposed to be cool in the movie seems pretty dumb now. Like the part when he jumps over the car or the huge amounts of white boy dancing. The dialogue was cheesy and unrealistic. The female characters were so poorly written it was almost offensive. I just don't believe Debora would be instantly charmed by everything this average dude says. He called her beautiful within 20 seconds of meeting her. That would creep out 99% of people. It felt like the dialogue was written by a college student. I can appreciate the clever use of music and sound in every scene but I can't forgive bad writing and a thin plot. The part at the end with the montage of all the people gassing him up on the witness stand made me laugh my ass off. Why would some random old lady testify for the guy who STOLE HER CAR AT GUNPOINT?? She was up there acting like he saved her life LOL. And of course his real name was MILES... thats pretty lame. Im probably nitpicking but there's a lot of unintentionally goofy stuff in this movie. It was all style no substance. Stick to comedies Edgar Wright.
