Even a lot of women can't, that's how complicated and risky it is. Childbirth used to be considered equivalent to dying in battle for women. My heart goes out to those who wish to but can't do this (including trans women), I hope they give a new home to the kids in the system. Editing in because of the discourse down there: I respect women who choose to not have kids, especially when they know they can't raise them (for any reason, cuz it's personal) No women are actively excited or addicted to abortion, it's a tragic situation but an extremely essential part of healthcare. Children deserve to live happy and healthy lives, and so do parents. I am pro-choice. God bless you all. 🙏

Thank you so much for this informative video. I always remembered the “drop” when I could breathe again, but not how close it was to delivery date. Twelve children in 16 years, blessed that most deliveries were within eight hours of onset of labor pains. Walking and bikeriding during pregnancy kept abdominal muscles toned, which may have contributed to the quicker delivery times. Also, breastfeeding (though painful the first few days) not only provides colostrum for the newborn, but helps tummy flatten quicker.

None of my 3 boys ever dropped! And, like my mom, I could not dilate, and have my babies naturally. My 1st was a week late, and I was induced. After 18hrs of hard labor and they let my epidural run out (only had epidural about 3hrs) my parents came and spoke to my Dr. Suddenly, his heart rate dipped and they did an emergency c-section. He was 8lb 9oz and 23 1/2in. My 2nd was of course planned c-section, he was a week early and a whopping 9lb 4oz 23 3/4in. I'm only 5'5 and their dad is 5'11. As soon as I was back in the room and could feel my legs, I was up and about! I coulf finally breathe again! Our 3rd was c-section, 3 days early and they had to use forceps because he was still so high up!! The nurses had to practically stand on me to push him down! He was 8lb 14oz and 23in. Once he was out I could finally take a deep breath, it had been forever!!!

I’m 6 weeks and 5 days with my first and I’m sooo excited to start showing
@gabrielametodieva83603 ай бұрын
Don’t get too stressed if you don’t start showing soon with your first! I was shocked because I only sort of started showing around 18-20 weeks (I’m quite small). So basically went on for half of my pregnancy not looking pregnant at all. Then I looked bloated for another 3-4 weeks and only after around 26 weeks I looked properly pregnant. Now it’s suddenly so big 😂

My daughter was very active. You could see everything she did in there! You could see her feet and hands when she pushed outward. When she "dropped ," you could tell right away. When my water broke, it actually didn't come out until 12 hours after. Her head was essentially stopping it from releasing! 😂 Pregnancy is truly an amazing process.

I didn't get to experience this in my pregnancy. I ended up having to get an emergency C-section at 33w2d (apparently the placenta stopped working. We didn't know that till the C-section). But don't worry, our little one is not so little anymore and is a little over a year old and walking! ❤️ I am happy for those mothers who do get to experience more of their pregnancy than I got to! I get excited for them❤️

Idk whom to but IMPORTANT TO KNOW: if you reached the D day and it hasn’t dropped yet, please ask to get checked. In my case, I reached 38 w with twins and no drop. After three days of pitocin, no drop. Please check with dr. :)

I think I dropped the week before my son came but the day before, he completely stretched in my belly sideways and I swear my belly went almost flat and after about 4 seconds he must've curled back into his little ball and i went into labot the next day. Going into Labor tip: I walked up a flight of steps in my house about 5 times. Each time you go up skip, a step. So the first time walk up the steps regular, 2nd time skip every other step, 3rd time skip 2 steps (do as much as comfortable for you) I did this at 6am, went to work, Went to labor that evening/ 9pm water broke. My friend told me this ans every mom who tried it it has worked❤

When I got induced, after a while, I felt my son drop. To me, it was the same feeling you get on a rollercoaster. It felt like I was going down a big drop. It was a crazy sensation. 😅

Ok.. so, I was a first time mom and my baby bump dropped a night before my Lil baby came into this world.. literally just 21 hours before the delivery and it was too sudden.. morning my bump was perfectly in shape and at night it was really low

Mine didn't drop, but tummy got huger. It turned out i had to have a cesarean. My pelvis wasn't big enough for him to go into. Just wait for labor, like regular, and go in when your water breaks. Drs. can't make that decision on your first pregnancy until lanor. I only had one, but if had any more, would have had a scheduled cedaiean around 2 weeks ahead. 😅

My son never dropped. Yes it can happen. He was born 2 weeks early. The 1st of 17 babies born that day was a boy and the last my son looked like he was 10ths. (The nurses guess not mine) my water broke at home, they put me on pit 2hrs later. They had so many babies being born, the had me on the highest amount until my son showed signs of distress. I was only 2-3 cen 11 hrs later. They put an epidural in & within 10 mins I was at 10. He was still up so high. They waited 2 hrs & no lowering. I pushed for 3 hrs & 55 mins Finally at 11:56 pm he was born. My 2nd baby dropped hrs before my water broke (had been slowly leaking for a long while. I had to wait for the dr. Went in tub with jets, got kicked out bc both our ❤ beats were too fast. 10am they started pit. My hubby said I wouldn’t have our little girl until after supper. I had the same issues with being stuck at 2-3. Cm. Dr said let’s try the epidural. At 2:15 pm it was in. 3 contractions later I said she’s coming out now! She would have come out on her own if she wasn’t holding her umbilical cord. Some olive oil & out she came at 2:25pm she’s be going places ever since!!

I was never in labour before. I just didi c-section because I am scared of childbirth. The c-section was free because I did it in Singapore.

@@scienceandartclub Well for me personally I would rather push the child out naturally by myself than being put under a knife while being awake and feel and see everything... No thank you. For me childbirth is natural but knife cutting into the stomach isn't and I'm scared that my future pregnancy ends up in c section. Not mean to hate you. You do you. Everybody has different opinions on this

My baby LIVED in my pelvic area for MONTHS, her head was below my C-section scar from my last baby most of that time. The doctors were surprised. She would move around but she didn't leave that area. It was hard on me and my bladder is still messed up because of it lol

I dropped like 2 months before she was forcibly evicted from my uterus. Because after 36 hours of labor and all the medication to induce me and she still didn’t want to come out.
